Argyrides Winery is a family-owned estate with a winemaking history spanning five generations, located in the village of Vasa Koilaniou. In 1993, the Argyrides family began transforming their 200-year-old listed ancestral home into a boutique winery, cultivating 100% of its own grapes.
Today, a new generation continues this work, cultivating the family’s eight hectares of vineyards situated at high altitudes between 950 and 1,100 metres, dedicated to carefully selected varieties, including long-established Mourvèdre and Maratheftiko vines.
Alongside this continuity, select wines from the Argyrides collection have received national and international recognition, reflecting the family’s dedication and unwavering commitment to quality winemaking.
If family and teamwork are at the heart of Argyrides Winery, its deep-rooted vineyards are its soul. To this day, the family and their crew continue to nurture and harvest eight hectares of decades-old vineyards.
Planted at high altitudes between 950 and 1,100 metres, these vineyards are home to both indigenous and international varieties, including Maratheftiko, Xynisteri, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier, Mataro, and Mourvèdre. Each vine is tended with patience and respect, reflecting a long-term commitment to the land.

At the heart of Argyrides Winery stands the family’s 200-year-old listed ancestral home, a place that has witnessed generations of life, work, and winemaking.
Over time, the winery’s facilities have been carefully restored and expanded, respecting the character of the original buildings while integrating the needs and functionalities of a modern working winery. The result is an estate where past and present coexist naturally and where daily winemaking continues within walls shaped by history.

Today, Argyrides Winery works with a combination of time-honored methods and modern technology, ensuring that each bottle reflects our unwavering dedication to quality.
Sustainable practices guide the work in both vineyard and cellar, with decisions made to protect the land and support long-term vine health. The wines produced reflect the character of the vineyards, the varieties grown, and the care invested in each vintage.

Argyrides Winery offers a limited number of wine tastings, hosted at the family’s 200-year-old listed ancestral house, where the wines are produced and bottled.
Designed as a considered introduction to the estate and its wines, tastings are offered by reservation only, ensuring each visit is given the attention it deserves.
